Paciano, together with the Municipalities of Castiglione del Lago, Magione, Cittą della Pieve, Panicale, Piegaro, Tuoro sul Trasimeno and Passignano del Trasimeno, is part of the Lake Trasimeno Tourist District.
All the historical centres of the Trasimeno area can be reached in 30 minutes or less and all the important sights can be seen in a half-day trip.

In this area, lovers of unspoilt nature can follow several itineraries through woods and olive groves, on foot, horseback or mountain bike, coming across castles and ancient villages, or just relax and enjoy the views from the lovely valley as far as Monte Amiata.

Another valuable feature of the district is the possibility of taking in, within a few kilometres, places of exceptional beauty, as well as historical and artistic interest.
